Classic arcade-puzzle gameplay, memory recall, and color matching come together in Light Byte, an innovative new puzzle game with a twist.
Colored blocks descend from the top of the screen, and you must clear them by matching blocks of the same color. Match longer chains of same-colored blocks to unlock powerups and the all-powerful Frenzy mode, as blocks explode away with fiery pyrotechnics. But things aren’t that simple. As you progress, the colors start to fade, so you’ll need to use your memory in addition to your fast reflexes to clear them.
Easy to grasp, yet challenging at the same time, Light Byte is a quick and addictive puzzle game you won’t want to put down.
GAME FEATURES
▪ Simple Tap-to-Shoot Controls: Shoot the blocks as they descend; chain together blocks of the same color to clear them.
▪ Memory Gameplay: Blocks fade quickly so youll need to remember their colors!
▪ Five Colors: Three starting colors - red, blue, yellow - with green and purple blocks to unlock as you play.
▪ Upgradeable Powerups: Use powerups (one for each color) to help you stay alive. Each can be upgraded to a super version if you advance far enough in the game.
▪ Mission Mode: Beat up to 50 missions to earn stars and test your reflexes and color-matching might.

Awesome game, with strong hypnotizing effect. Nice matching mechanics, but guys, buttons are broken, they react only on very fast taps.
Great gameplay and style. Fun to play Anywhere and easily addictive! You will never get bored of this game so much fun. Like tetris meets blockbreaker meets awesome!

This is the best game Ive ever downloaded from the App Store! Its an absolute steal at $0.99! YOU MUST BUY THIS NOW!
This is such a well polished game. No freezes, crashes, or bugs. The graphics are FANTASTIC on both my 4th gen iPod touch and my 3rd gen iPad. I love that its universal! The controls are simple, so the game is really easy to pick up and play, but the gameplay will keep you playing for hours. I cant put it down!
The full unlock is totally worth it too. The Time Attack mode requires a different type of strategy than the Endless mode, and the Full Byte mode is such a great challenge!
Very inventive--highly recommend. Its destroyed my finger. Only downside is that Im not seeing too much room for strategy yet--perhaps because Im just beginning. It seems like I just do really well until Im not fast enough anymore. Seems like I usually lose because of the blocks getting too close to the bottom instead of my removing the wrong blocks/not remembering the faded ones.
Another fantastic game from Ayopa Games! Fresh original gameplay. Very easy to learn how to play( tap corresponding colors to create chains, chains = power ups & frenzy mode. Blocks fall faster over time. Very hard to master, and very hard to put down! Keep them coming Ayopa!
